What is Microblading?

Microblading is a long-running genre of permanent makeup (micropigmentation). It is a procedure that differs slightly from the Hand-Application method in that its movements and gestures of application are dissimilar. Both Microblading and Hand-Application method are forms of permanent makeup, but what distinguishes the two and considers them more preferable to tattoo machines is the intricacy of their procedures.

Is Microblading a New Method of Permanent Makeup?

It is important to note that Microblading is certainly not a new method. This technique has been around for decades, if not more. Early permanent makeup has greatly made use of this method, but the emergence of branding and advertising has introduced this method as a recent sensational development.Microblading Tools and Techniques

What instruments are used?

We use precision instruments for our microblading services in Los Angeles county. Microblading uses a manual handheld applicator as opposed to an abrasive tattooing machine used in regular tattoos. With a smaller device, permanent makeup artists are able to get finer detail and fabricate very natural-looking features, such as simulating the appearance of hair in eyebrows. With the ability to draw hair strokes, the Microblading technique has been most desirable to those looking for a natural and accentuating look.

Why are consultations required?

We require consultations for a few reasons, First and foremost to get to know you and your expectations. during the consultation we go over the whole procedure, talk about shape, color, prep and aftercare. if you decide to move forward we take your deposit, book your appointment and send you home with paperwork, numbing agents and instructions on how to anesthetize yourself prior to your procedure. if you skip the consultation, book your appointment and are not anesthetized but wish to be there is a $50 charge for the 1 hour time it takes to get you anesthetized prior to your procedure.

What is Permanent make-up?

Permanent make-up or “ Cosmetic tattooing” mimics the look of just-applied lipstick, lip liner, eyebrow pencil, and eyeliner. It's done through a process called micropigmentation, where a tattoo pen is used to inject permanent ink into the skin. Each procedure takes between 30 and 120 minutes, and the practitioner uses a local anesthetic numbing cream and liquid to the area being tattooed. Just like any tattoo, initially the color will appear brighter or darker, then will fade. The area will be swollen for anywhere between 2-5 days and can slightly crust over before healing.

How long will it take to heal?

Healing time Varys from person to person and procedure is also a factor ( ie. eyeliner, lips or brows ) but on average you will be healed topically in about 7 to 10 days but healing in the dermal layers of the skin takes time, approximately 30 days. definitely check out our FAQ page and use the link Permanent makeup FAQ. Also be sure to read the pre and post care link at the top of this page.

What instruments are used?

We use precision instruments for our permanent make-up services. Permanent make-up uses manual and mechanical handheld applicator. With a smaller device, permanent makeup practitioners are able to get finer detail and fabricate very natural-looking features. the mechanical pen is plug and play, this means the needles are self contained in a disposable cartridge so its less parts to handle and less chances of contamination. All our instruments are disposable except the machine which is sterilized and bagged. for more information be sure to check out our permanent make-up FAQ section under our FAQ page.

T1 & T2 Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. The new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun. There are three basic types of chemical peels:

Superficial or lunchtime peel: Alpha-hydroxy acid or another mild acid is used to penetrate only the outer layer of skin to gently exfoliate it. The treatment is used to improve the appearance of mild skin discoloration and rough skin as well as to refresh the face, neck, chest or hands.

Medium peel: Glycolic or trichloroacetic acid is applied to penetrate the out and middle layers of skin to remove damaged skin cells. The treatment is used to improve age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles and moderate skin discoloration. It also can be used to smooth rough skin and treat some precancerous skin growths, i.e. actinic keratosis.

Prices range from $45 for micro peels to $175 for more aggressive peels.

50 Min Treatment

Often referred to as “Black Doll Facial”, this type of skin treatment is a non-invasive, and pain-free treatment that is great for minor skin problems and gives you that glow that you desire. It comes from a state of the art Q-switched Nd-Yag laser machine. This machine works wonders on your skin by producing short, high-intensity pulses of light in order to destroy dirt that may be clogging up your pores. First, your face is cleaned and lotion is applied. The Cosmetic Laser Professionals will use a carbon lotion that acts as a photo enhancer. The lotion helps with the rapid intensity of the treatment and really focuses on the debris that is causing your clogged pores. The laser light is absorbed by the black particles of carbon which will be released with the dead layer of skin.

  • Weight loss is more than goal these days,

  • it’s an entire industry so finding the right services to help you can be tricky. Treatments like ultrasonic cavitation can make it even trickier if you’re not even sure what that means or what it does. Put simply, ultrasonic cavitation is a weight-loss treatment that uses low-frequency sound waves to burst fat cells, which may result in lost inches on the treated areas and (ultimately) a slimmer figure.

  • What is ultrasonic cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a simple procedure that relies on sound waves to flush fat from the body instead of intensive surgery.

  • How does ultrasonic cavitation work?

During an ultrasonic cavitation procedure, noninvasive machines target specific body areas with low-frequency sound waves (they’re what put the “ultrasonic” in “ultrasonic cavitation”) and, in some cases, light suction. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin’s surface. The pressure eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the bloodstream. Proponents of the procedure believe that the body is then able to process these fatty acids through its proverbial waste-disposal plant: the lymphatic system.

  • Does ultrasonic cavitation work?

Yes, but results may vary! Depending on your individual health history and body type, you may slim down more or less dramatically or have longer- or shorter-lasting results than others. A minimum of 4 treatments is required to achieve results and a maximum of 12 might be required.

  • For more information on cavitation and other body contouring procedures we do here at Euphoria Face & Body contact us through the “Contact Us” link above

Cryolipolysis “ Better known as CoolSculpting “ is a method in which fat cells are tackled by means of a cold treatment. It is a safe and reliable method which requires neither an operation nor anaesthetic. We’re all familiar with cold treatments, such as an ice pack for strained muscles and joints. Coolsculpting works on the basis of Cryolipolysis, using controlled freezing to cool fat cells until they crystallise. The body then gradually disposes of the fat cells in a natural manner.

RF skin tightening

If you’re looking for ways to tighten your skin without the extended healing time, pain, and expense of cosmetic surgery, you may want to consider radio frequency skin tightening.

This procedure, which is relatively new, is a non-surgical option for people who want to treat wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging. Radio frequency skin tightening is performed by dermatologists and skin care clinics, and uses radio frequency (RF) energy on the skin of the face & body, heating up the various skin layers to stimulate collagen production, which smoothes and lifts the skin’s surface.

This procedure requires no incisions to be made in the skin and has a low instance of side effects. Radio frequency skin tightening is a viable procedure for many people whose skin has not reacted favorably to laser or thermal treatments in the past.

How it works

Using patented technology, the RF wand utilizes multi-polar radiofrequency and Pulsed Magnetic fields, which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin.

Skin tightening, and wrinkle reduction occur because the muto-polar radio frequency causes a thermal reaction in the tissue, which stimulates the body’s natural healing response. This restoring response causes the skin to contract, achieving tighter skin, and softening of wrinkles.

What to expect

These treatments are non-invasive and painless, which many patients comparing the treatment to a hot-stone facial!

Treatments take approximately 30 minutes depending on the area; you can expect to see results as the treatment progress, a minimum of 4 treatments for the face and neck areas. This treatment is for all skin types and colors.

HIFU

Only one treatment is needed. The uplift happens naturally by stimulating the deep structural layers of the skin. A natural and regenerative response is initiated, stimulating the growth of new collagen and better circulation which lifts and tightens the skin over time. The results will build gradually over 2-3 months and continue to improve up to 6 months after treatment.

HIFUltra device is the most advanced technology for skin tightening based on High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) which will lift and tighten skin causing a Non-Surgical face and neck lift.

HIFU is the only non-invasive treatment that can specifically target the three different layers of the skin and SMAS Superficial muscular aponeurotic system which is addressed in cosmetic surgery without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.

What does the HIFU therapy do?

Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firmed, toned and elastic. As we age, collagen loses its elasticity and its ability to stand against the effects of the gravity that pull the skin downward.

HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy below the surface of the skin,  at the optimal temperature to contract the facial layer as well as stimulate new collagen synthesis. As a result, the skin will actually begin to lift and tone over time. HIFU  relies on your body’s own collagen-building process for natural, noticeable results.

Is HIFU surgery?

No, unlike a Surgical facelift, HIFU is a non-invasive procedure that addresses the skin and the deep layers below it but doesn’t entail cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.

It is a clinically proven non-invasive alternative for those not ready for surgery—and can even be an option for patients who wish to extend the effects of cosmetic surgery.

Is HIFU safe?

The procedure has been cleared after demonstrating safety in clinical studies, and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed safely worldwide. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field for more than 50 years.

How long does the HIFU treatment take?

A full-face treatment takes 45-60 minutes, and a partial face or brow lift treatment can take around 30 minutes.

HIFU is an entirely non-invasive procedure and as such, there is no downtime. You are able to return to your normal activities right away, and there are no special measures you need to take.

While HIFU is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, there are many people who want some lifting but are not ready for surgery, either mentally, financially or logistically. There are also younger people who want to “stay ahead of the game” as well as those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

How long until I see results?

Patients may enjoy some initial effect but the ultimate lifting and toning will take place over 2-3 months, as aging collagen is replaced with new one. As this collagen-building process continues, further improvements can appear up to 6 months following a procedure.

How long do results last? Patients treated with HIFU still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure and can continue for up to another year depending on the condition of the skin. Future touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.

Will I feel the ultrasound during the treatment? Is HIFU painful?

What you are feeling during the treatment is actually tiny amounts of focused ultrasound energy being delivered below the surface of the skin.  Some may feel discomfort while the ultrasound energy is being delivered, but it is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated.

Comfort thresholds vary from patient to patient, Your practitioner will consult with you prior to your skin treatment to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

Patients typically leave comfortable and excited about the benefits to come!

Are there any side effects?

Slight redness for up to an hour or so following the treatment and a small percentage of clients may have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

The feeling of a muscle workout soreness is common but relieves itself quickly.

Other, less common post-procedural effects may include temporary bruising or nerve numbness in small areas of skin which will fade by time.

Who is NOT a candidate for HIFU procedure?

1. Pregnant
2. Heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism patients
3. Patients with advanced cancer
4. Surgical wounds are not healed
5. Have unrealistic effect on the patients
